Crested Geckos and Chahoua's require temperatures that are comfortable to you and I. In other words, 60-80 degrees F are the min and max temps that are comfortable for them. While we can use heat packs and cold packs to ship at the extremes of the temperature ranges, overnight lows must be no lower than 40 degrees at both locations to be able to ship. Some exceptions might be made but it would be at the discretion of RSG and with the understanding that the live arrival warranty would be nullified. Another point to keep in mind is that someone must be home to receive the gecko no matter what the weather-but particularly if temperatures are in the high or low range. Sitting on a porch the package can rapidly heat or cool if exposed to sun, rain, snow, cold ground temps or freezing air temperatures. Remember that shipping is stressful for your new friend even under ideal conditions. Excessive stress can open a gecko up to illness or even death. Limiting negative shipping conditions helps ensure that your gecko will have a shorter adjustment period in your home and be a happy and healthy part of your pet family.
